4. Use the Manual Laser/Sample Positioning control page or
the Control Stick to move to the first position and note the
absolute coordinates for that position.
5. Open the MicrosoftWindows NT
®
Notepad text editor.

6. On the first line, type a semicolon (;), then type a
description of the sample plate, for example:
;96-position,reusable,no wells,.PLT file
7. Enter WellUnits, WellShape, WellWidth and WellHeight, if
necessary. For more information, see Table 3-4, “.PLT File
Parameters,” on page 3-53.
